The Stable is a former farm building on Brynglas Farm - situated in the hamlet of Chancery, just a short drive from Aberystwyth, West Wales. Ideally located for exploring the stunning coastline and beautiful countryside of Ceredigion.

The accommodation

The Stable has been lovingly converted into a warm, cosy, single storey, two bedroom cottage suite which has a king bedroom and a single bedroom. Bathroom with a shower over the bath, 4K Smart television in the lounge/dining area, and a kitchen.

The location

Situated in the hamlet of Chancery, just a short drive from Aberystwyth in the heart of Cardigan Bay, West Wales. Views to die for on our doorstep.

Ideally located for exploring our spectacular coastline and countryside.

Aberystwyth is known as the principal holiday resort centre of the West coast of Wales.

Aberaeron, just down the road from us is known as the 'picture postcard pretty harbour town'.

Devils Bridge is located approx 13 miles away but is a MUST to visit. It's famous for its waterfalls, 3 stacked bridges and is the terminal for the Vale of Rheidol Steam train.

Our area

Walk the coastal path - directly opposite the cottages - the coastal path from Llanrhystud to Aberystwyth.

The service bus stops on our entrance - therefore you are able to explore our area via public transport which is currently free at weekends.

Aberystwyth has lots to offer - in the Autumn/Winter months the Starlings migrate to the Pier every evening which is spectacular. We have a 2000 metre Promenade for you to stroll/walk/run along. Our sunsets are out of this world - must be seen to believe.

The Vale of Rheidol steam train, which takes you through the gorgeous Rheidol Valley, ends up in

Devils Bridge falls which are world famous.

Travel info

We are situated on the A487 in the hamlet of Chancery just miles south of Aberystwyth or 12 miles of Aberaeron. Our entrance is immediately after the Chancery sign on the left hand side if travelling from Aberystwyth. If travelling from Aberaeron we are on the right hand side on leaving the hamlet of Chancery. Ample vehicle parking in front of both cottages or on the side of The Granary Cottage.
