Oak Cottage is in a converted stone barn on a quiet farm. It is the perfect location for walking in the Black Mountains, and there are plenty of quiet routes for cycling too. There are two pubs within walking distance, one in the cellar of Llanthony Priory.
The cottage is beautifully designed for two people, with an oak floor and original beams giving it charm and character. There is a wood burning stove, and in cold weather there is underfloor heating too.Outside there is garden furniture where you can relax and enjoy the view.
There is a shower room off the main room and the kitchen is well equipped. Wifi is available outside the cottage. A washing machine is in an adjoining building.
Llanthony is a tiny village in a very unspoilt area within the Brecon Beacons National park. The beautiful ruins of Llanthony Priory and a short walk away where you an also enjoy a drink and good pub food. The welcoming Half Moon Hotel is also in walking distance.
The nearest small shop is 5 miles and Abergavenny is 10 miles.
